Fireball is the Standard Special Move for Mario and Luigi in all 3 Super Smash Bros. Games. This move is based on Fire Mario and Fire Luigi's fireballs.

Mario[]

Effects and Moves[]

Mario's Fireballs are usually very weak but a bit powerful. Mario's fireballs bounce on the ground. They last for about 5 bounces. In the 64 Intro, Mario is using Fireball on one of the opponents. In the Brawl Intro, he uses Fireball on R.O.B. If he and Luigi uses the Fireball on each other at the same time, the Fireballs will blend and no damage will occur.

Causes and Damages[]

The Fireball does not cause the player a lot of damage and a player cannot be KOd by a Fireball since it is very weak. It only gives 2-3% Damage which is pretty much useless. This only gives another opponent the chance to KO the same opponent.

Luigi[]

Effects and Moves[]

Luigi's Fireballs are mostly based on Mario's fireballs but they are even weaker. Luigi's fireball float and move only for 1 second. This is not his main move so he does not use this for any intro. Since is he an unlockable character in all 3 Games, he is not shown on any of the Intros. If he and Mario uses the Fireball on each other at the same time, the Fireballs will blend and no damage will occur.

Causes and Damages[]

The Fireball is weaker than Mario's fireball so it cannot KO someone. It gives only 1-2% damage which boosts another opponent's opportunity to KO that opponent.
